NFF - No Fun Friday

When a group of friends heads out from work to lunch on Friday with no plans of returning to the office with the knowledge that the gathering will be off the hook fun but keeping it on the down low with a NFF label.

NFF is the foreplay to Saturday and Sunday Funday. NFF usually starts as lunch and continues into Friday Happy Hour and spirals out of control ending with late night pizza or White Castle.

Jeff headed off to NFF - No Fun Friday stating 'This will be no fun what so ever".

This weeks No Fun Friday started with posts in Australia and built momentum in South Africa and Europe. By the time NFF started in the USA the Aussies were dealing with their coyote ugly and trying to remember where their car is parked.

Fun Bun Friday

Used to describe the last day of the working week when members of an office bring in sweet sugary buns, doughnuts, cakes and pastries for everyone else to binge on. The Starbucks Cinnamon bun is a good Fun Bun Friday staple as is the Krispy Kreme dozen donut box.

Secretary 1: Damn...still two days left until Fun Bun Friday!

Secretary 2: Don't remind me! In fact I feel like a fun bun right now...
