Frowurd

A state of advancing toward a goal with a fierce, defiant, or stubbornly contrary attitude toward any external force that opposes your inner truth, intuition, and divine authority.

Unlike "froward" (which implies being lost or rebellious without a cause), frowurd is "sacred stubbornness." It is the act of being difficult to the world because you are being devoted to the God within you. It is the intersection of forward motion and spiritual sovereignty.

They tried to talk him out of his vision, but he stayed frowurd, ignoring the critics and following his inner guidance to the finish line.
