Foomper (noun)

A drive-thru bank pneumatic tube system that launches a plastic capsule full of cash, checks, or snacks through a tube to a teller using compressed air. Universally recognized not by its official name, but by the satisfying sound it makes when it fires off: “FOOMP.”

Often found at banks, pharmacies, and any place that still believes in the magic of sending objects through tubes like it’s the future from 1965. The foomper is a sacred piece of American infrastructure and should be respected at all times.
Hold up, I’m not done filling out the slip—don’t send the foomper yet!”
