Fauxriental 

adj. - used to describe a person, place or thing that has an Asian esthetic or accoutrements but is not at all related to Asia. (ex: clothing items with pictures of rice paper lanterns or cherry blossoms all over them) Also, used to describe a person that just really, really wishes they were Asian.
Tomas only reads books about Asian cultures, is studying fill-in-the-blank Asian language, and his favorite movies are kung-fu flicks. He's so fauxriental!
