Energy Heavy Machine Guns

A tripod‑mounted or vehicle‑integrated directed‑energy weapon that delivers sustained, devastating power. Designed to engage light vehicles, fortifications, and massed infantry, it projects a continuous beam or high‑frequency pulse train. Cooling is a major challenge – liquid nitrogen or cryo‑loops are standard. The energy heavy machine gun can cut through a car engine block, set off ammunition stores, and leave glassy trenches in concrete. It is the sound of “we are not here to negotiate.”
Energy Heavy Machine Guns Example: “The energy HMG hummed for a full three seconds, then a line of white fire walked across the bunker line. When the glare faded, the bunkers had been replaced by molten slag. The enemy stopped shooting.”

Energy-Directed Heavy Machine Guns

A vehicle‑mounted or fixed‑emplacement directed‑energy weapon that projects a continuous, high‑power laser or microwave beam. Designed to engage incoming missiles, aircraft, or light armor, it can burn through steel at a rate of centimeters per second. The power draw is enormous – often requiring a dedicated reactor or capacitor bank. Energy‑directed heavy machine guns are the backbone of modern point‑defense systems. The beam is visible as a white‑hot line, and the target usually explodes before it can react.
Energy-Directed Heavy Machine Guns Example: “The ship’s energy‑directed HMG tracked the incoming missile. A beam of light connected the turret to the warhead. The missile detonated harmlessly a kilometer out. The gun’s coolant system vented steam – time to reload the capacitor.”

I mean I guess bro

a word of expression to when you give up on comprehending someone's words of ignorance, stupidity, absurdity or are too exhausted to formulate a proper response.

Commonly seen in TikTok comment sections in replies to lazy attempts at humor, overconfidentally incorrect statement, or an over-the-top comment or when someone completely misses the mark on something.
"actually... incorrect statement, hope this helps!"

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.

Foot prisons

Socks. Annoying, sweat-causing, non-barefoot enducing, everyday socks.
The first thing I do when I take off my shoes, is rip off the foot prisons I had to wear inside them. That's why I prefer flip flops, even in winter!

cornholio

Ruler of Lake Titicaca. Rumored to have a bunghole that gets very angry if it does not receive toilet paper. Cornholio the Great is often seen walking around with his shirt over his head and his hands in the air, chanting songs about his power, and his bunghole.
"I am Cornholio! You do not want to face the wrath of my bunghole, for I need TP!"
Butthead: Shut up, Beavis! (uh huh huh huh)
Beavis: Um, okay. (heh heh heh heh).
