EMIQ

An email induced quarrel. Popularized by noted New York attorney Bruce Stachenfeld to describe needless disputes arising from mis-interpertations from emails that do not have negative intent.
For an example, an EMIQ starting from the word "Shut up" in an email, intended as mock disbelief but interpreted as an insult.
