An acronym for "Engagement Retard" for people that create gossip or start drama over things just for fun especially when they know nothing about it or don't even care about the subject in question, and often telling lies about it to start trouble.

Man, these E Tards have no real life at all. Oh great, another E Tard creating problems just to create problems.
