Comes from people believing Rosie to be a ditsy name.

Rosie: What do you mean?

Person: Well it would make sense that a Rosie Did a Rosie

Rosie: What's Doing a Rosie?

Person: Doing something a Rosie would do, you know, something embarrassing or silly.

when you are taking up a whole seat for example, and won't move up to let somebody share it with you, much like rose on the titanic when she doesn't move up to let jack on the floating door, resulting in his death. BOOO ROSE!
