(noun) A nickname for any person who is spouting bullshit and/or making irrational claims. Can also be used to describe someone who disagrees with you. Named after the Invader Zim character of the same name.

Dib

One of the main characters from the cartoon Invader Zim. Dib is a young boy who dreams of being a paranormal investigator when he grows up, even though his father, a world-famous scientist, wants him to study 'real science'. When the alien Zim appears at his school with plans for world domination, Dib is often the only one who can stop him. Unfortunately, no one else realizes that Zim is an alien, so they all think that Dib is insane.

my favorite character on the show Invader Zim. dib is a boy in zims class who is obsessed with the paranormal. dib lives with his famous scientist dad, professor membrane, and his little sister, gaz. he is the only one apart from gaz who knows zim is an alien. even though he tries infinite times to prove to everyone zim is an alien, they never believe him and just think hes insane. he has black hair, glasses, and a long black coat.

Stands for Dirty Irish Bastard. Refers to lewd middle-aged drunken people hanging around in Dublin youth hostels.

Gradually applied to people from other nationalities as well:
DFB: Dirty French Bastard
DAB: Dirty Australian Bastard
etc.
