Desperate Irrelevants

The type of people who go out of their way to not mind their own business and make antagonistic comments towards others they perceive as "weaker" based solely on superficial traits such as gender, weight, social status, social class, monetary wealth, etc. in the misguided or ignorant hopes that this will elevate their own perception of themselves to Somebody. Desperate Irrelevants have a tragic inability to deal with the crushing weight of their own finite existence, which leads to them clawing and scratching at everything and everyone all the way to their graves.

"Everytime I turn a corner in San Francisco there's always someone making a snarky comment about my weight."

"Yeah, San Francisco is full of Desperate Irrelevants."

"I parked my car at Safeway so people could see the For Sale sign on it and some rando came up and told me it wasn't going to sell. What a Desperate Irrelevant douche."

"Did you sell your car though?"

"Of course, it was an awesome car."

"A receptionist at Planet Fitness found out I was showering there so much because I'm homeless. Now she thinks it's OK to talk to me like she's a prison warden and I'm a felon. She has that Desperate Irrelevant brain rot."
