The short hand description used to explain to someone (family, friends, loved ones, co-workers, employers, acquaintances, you dog, your cat, the restaurant you had reservations for, and Elon Musk) why you will no longer be able to attend the scheduled event or rendezvous previously agreed upon because you chose to fly with Delta Airlines.

I was really excited to be home the day before the birth of my child, however; after I checked all of my clothing, essentials and had nothing but a backpack and non-essential items, I was Delta’d. Now I have to miss my flight, receive expired meal vouchers and sleep on the floor in the airport again; all while missing every life event I ever schedule.

delta down syndrome

A name referring to the fight group known as Delta. This is used when describing any flight in a JROTC unit. It can used to describe any flight or group regardless of the actual flight its self. Can be used when singing degrading songs while marching. This is only used if and when a flight is made up of complete idiots, and at least a quarter of the flight has a form of Down syndrome.

Delta Delta Delta

One of the largest, and strongest female fraternities on campus. Started in Boston, MA in 1888 and now has national head quarters in Arlington, TX.

The girls are cute, nice, and like to have fun. Ignore the rumors, they aren't all true.

Is she in a sorority? Yea, she's a Delta Delta Delta Tri Delt. I wish I was.
