Communist Aero

A variant of Frutiger Aero that draws on the aesthetics of the Soviet Union, the Communist bloc, and state‑sponsored modernism. Communist Aero replaces the corporate gloss of Western Frutiger Aero with the brutalist forms, heroic scales, and ideological optimism of socialist architecture. Glassmorphism appears in the vast curtain walls of Soviet-era public buildings and the bright, colored glass of metro stations. Nature is rendered as grand, managed landscapes—forests as national resources, gardens as socialist parks. The aesthetic evokes a future of collective prosperity, where technology serves the state and nature is harnessed for progress.
