Chomping at the bit

The uneducated, totally incorrect way to say champing at the bit
"I was chomping at the bit to get laid"
"It's 'champing at the bit'. You're an idiot and that's why you're not getting laid."

Chomping at the bit

A physical feeling, usually experienced by involuntary celibates, where one is so horny that they are unable to focus on anything other than their unsatisfied sexual urges, and experience uncomfortable tension so intense that they actually grind their teeth
I haven't been laid for three weeks and I'm chomping at the bit.

champing at the bit

Being so stupidly excited about something that you grind your teeth, like a racehorse does when being ridden.
"I'm champing at the bit for this party."
"I thought the phrase was 'chomping at the bit'."
"It's not. You're an idiot."

chompin at the bits

I'm really chompin at the bits to go snowboarding.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
