Its popularity has led to the creation of various lip-sync covers and parody videos, including one featuring Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Tisdale. The main chorus "Hey I just met you, and this is crazy. But here's my number, so call me maybe?" has also spawned an internet meme, in which the last two lines are substituted with (often sexual) rhyming lyrics.
