Buttering the bread

An exceptionally smooth landing, usually performed in an airliner.
Look at that pilot perfectly buttering the bread

Buttering the bread

An extraordinarily smooth plane landing.
That pilot is really good at buttering the bread!

Buttering both sides of the bread

To go much harder than is necessary. Worthless overachievment.
"Aww man, I studied for three hours and the test turned out to be easy! I really buttered both sides of the bread on this one."

"Dude last night I took ten viagra before fucking my girlfriend!"
"Woah man, why you always gotta be buttering both sides of the bread?"
Spidey sense for evading poop on the street, canine or otherwise.
When walking in NYC or LA, you need shitdar.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
