Anyone who at least casually plays the video game Mount And Blade, developed by Turkish developer TaleWorlds.

The term is a reference to a meme amongst the community where People horde butter in their castles.

Person 1: So you like Mount And Blade?
Person 2: Yes, I am quite the Butter Lord.

Used as a adjective toward a person, it is a popular meme among the Mount & Blade community that refers to anyone that has been playing the game.

It comes from the fact that the Swadians after a conquest usually feast, no matter what, they could be raided or their villages attacked, nothing will stop them from feasting with butter.
