Burp and tuck

The act of closing a deal, usually dealing with someone who is a pain in the ass or unreasonable. The phrase refers to putting a crying baby to sleep, burp them and tuck them away to bed.
Sales person; "Dave, can you help me with this customer? She is being completely unreasonable and won't accept no for an answer."
Dave; "Do you need me to give her a burp and tuck?"
