Similar to mix between booty call and friends with benefits, a buddy call is when a friend comes over for and performs sexual actions.
Usually, there are no intentions for a relationship beyond friendship, but does happen.

Buddy Call 

Similar to a Booty Call. When a buddy comes over in the middle of the night, usually intoxicated and usually on a work/school night to get you to go on some hairbrained adventure with him/her.

"Yo pj...you look tired today."

"Yup...Jack made a buddy call last night and we ended up tipping cows in old man Smith's field 'til dawn."

"But dude...it was a school night."

"Next time I'll know better."

Similar to a booty call except that when you arrive for your booty, you discover the person only had intentions of cuddling. Like a cuddle call, except the callee doesn't know they're not going to get any until they get there. A false alarm, if you will.

Tim was so psyched when Jenny booty-called him, but when he got there, he had major blueballs since it turned out to be just a buddy call.

the equivalent of a booty call, the process of someone texting another person late at night to talk. Most likely seen at 10:00pm-3:00am.

Andy (12:10am) : "Hey, I need a text buddy"

drive call buddy 

A call that you make when on the drive to work or when on a long drive on the highway. Typically on a "drive call" you are really bored and have a default "drive call buddy” to pass the time of this long routine and boring drive. In this call you are very likely to complain about your boss, your job or just about your life in general. Sometimes on this call you are talking about business deals that will never materialize because the intent is really just a "drive call". It should also be noted that the "drive call" recipient may sometimes result in talking to someone that you would otherwise not call and in desperation of your long trip car boredom you will even call that one person that you really would rather watch desperate housewives in 90 degree weather than to have a conversation with “that” person. "Drive Calls" usually end abruptly and that is when the caller arrives to their destination.

Simi (Caller): how’d u know?
Dukes: I'm your drive call buddy.

Dukes: Huh???, I guess he just got home

the using of a friend or Buddy only to YOUR convenience. or when you need them.

Much like a BootyCall but in Buddy form.

very common in selfish teenage girls.
they're NEVERRR good friends.

i recomend just getting these people out of your life all together.

Appearantly im her BuddyCall. the only time we ever talk is whenever SHE needs a friend. But she flakes whenever i need a friend.
