Brian Moment

A "Brian Moment" can be used in two different ways. It is typically added at the end of a sentence. It can define anything even slightly out of the ordinary, or weird (Similar to the "Only at Miller Grove" meme), or it can be used to describe when a teammate in a competitive sport/game does something counter-productive to your team. (ex. Scoring on your own net in soccer). If you see anything out of the ordinary happen around you, instead of ignoring it, please feel free to say "Brian Moment" to whatever happened.
Example 1: Hey, did you see that guy own-goal? That's a Brian Moment!

Example 2: If somebody aggressively shit their pants during class, that would be classified as a Brian Moment.

Example 3: Somebody drops something. You could reply to that by saying "Brian Moment"

Brian Moment

An instance of brutally ironic misfortune in one's life, typically in-line with "worst case scenario" predictions.
Brian: "I just met this beautiful woman who I have a lot in common with and we get along great. Only problem is she just started dating a guy who sounds a lot like me."
Alex: "Boy, that's a Brian Moment if I ever heard one."

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
