Humorous description of a third world country, usually in Africa.

As in Alan Clark's suggestion that immigrants ought to be sent back to "Bongo-Bongo Land"

Bongo-Bongo land 

A non-racist way to refer in a non-prejudiced manner to the entirety of Africa as a destitute drain on the world economy ruled over by corrupt tyrants that spend all the aid money on Ray Bans and Ferraris. Usually used only by people old enough to claim that it was 'a perfectly acceptable term to use when they were growing up' as defence when accused of racism by the PC brigade.
