Besto Pesto

A Besto Pesto is someone who is your best friend in the whole world. You will do anything dumb with them, bully them relentlessly, but love them unconditionally. They stick with you everywhere you go and never leave your side. You are Besto Pestos with them even if you aren't together for a little bit. Unlike best friends, you only get one Besto Pesto in your life. Choose wisely.
"You're my Besto Pesto. Even though I'm mad at you, I'll love you forever."

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
