Surprised or shocked, usually in an unpleasant way but can be used for either.

Ex: I was BEJOLLERED when I found out they were a couple.

Southern Slang. To make a God awful noise.

*Singing a song loudly but poorly.*
Mom: For God’s sake, hush with that bellerin!
Me: I watched the season two finale of Outlander and I cried and bellered..
