Barbecue Dad

A Barbecue Dad is a generic father figure who cooks all the food at a cookout such as hamburgers and hotdogs (while drinking beer). The roles of Barbecue Dad include referring to the younger attendees as, "Big Guy", "Champ", "Chief", and "Sport". Barbecue Dads talk about Dad things such as, lawnmowers, building your own deck, Sunday Night Football, and his glory days.
"Hey Jimmy, I wanna have a cookout next weekend, but my dad is gonna be out of town."

"Aw man, we are going to have to find someone to fulfill the role of "Barbecue Dad."
"You're right Jimmy, cookouts aren't the same without BBQ Dads."
