The art of masterminding a disastrous civic project, through a council resolution, watching the predictable consequences unfold, and immediately executing a full Olympic-level political moonwalk and shifting 100% of the blame onto the current mayor while whispering "Bahala ka dyan" (You deal with that yourself) as the city floats away.

Origin:
A hybrid of the Tagalog phrase "Bahala ka dyan" and high-level political hypocrisy. Popularized in local governance when former councilors approve environmentally destructive developments (like razing forests for solar farms), act surprised when the inevitable flash floods arrive, and suddenly develop complete amnesia regarding their own signatures on the council resolutions.

Don't fall for their press releasess! That sudden outrage over the deforestation is pure balakajanism from ex-councilors who signed the original clearance."
