Awkute

Used to describe people who are both awkward and cute, usually couples. Often, people in new relationships do not know how to act in public together, and thus are adorable (when they are a good match). When this happens, they are awkute.

Look how ridiculous that hug between Adam and Brittany looks! They're so awkute! Aww, are they staring into each other's eyes while playing basketball? So awkute!!!

A very average stereotype. They do what they want, when they want, and aren't afraid to be themselves. Some say they are nicer, toned-down versions of hipsters. The personality of an awkster is sometimes shy and awkward, yet sometimes wild and crazy. They are not afraid to laugh at themselves. They listen to mostly alternative rock, but range from plain alternative to plain rock. They are slight nerds and can be heavy gamers. Some of their signature fashion pieces are Toms, loose shirts, short shorts and retro sunglasses.

That awkward moment when you encounter a stranger in the street and both try to go the same way to avoid each other, the worst awkstepping is when you both try and go the same way multiple times before you manage to pass each other.

I had a really bad awkstepping encounter with an old man the other day.
