Arklone

Arklone (Arklone P) is 1,1,2-Trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (CCl2FCClF2, CFC-113). It's a solvent used for cleaning and industrial purposes as a degreaser. It's probably being phased out and replaced by safer solvents because Arklone P is a CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) which depletes the ozone layer. 2-methyl-2-butanol (2M2B, 2m2bOH, 2-methyl-2-butyl alcohol, C5H11OH) is a much safer solvent.

Generation X: I decreased the engine with Arklone P!

Millennial: (conscious about the ozone layer): I decreased my engine with 2m2bOH (2-methyl-2-butanol, C5H11OH).
