Dear Lord and Father of all, thank you for this day. Thank you for ways in which you provide for us all. For Your protection, and love we thank You. Help us to focus our minds on what we are about to learn/review. Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and take notes. Guide us by Your Eternal light as we discover more about the world around us. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

A less than major airline where "white-knuckeling" and bottom shelf tequila are necessary survival tactics. Ozark Air (OzArk), Bucket-O-Bolts Airlines (BOBA) and Parachutes Optional Airtravel (POA) are all fine examples of this genre of airline quality-of-service. Usually trying to provide service to the midwest and/or bible belt, but failing badly.

Livin' on a Prayer 

In reference to the Bon Jovi song which is widely played by cover bands in bars predominantly in New Jersey and Philadelphia. Most widely covered during the summer season at the Jersey Shore. A phrase used to describe a person who is too old to be hanging out in the same bars with the young crowd each night when they should have moved on in life. Someone who is clinging to the lifestyle of a highschool graduate or college student.

Although all of his friends are now working full time and are married, Mike is still livin' on a prayer every weekend.

Calling 9-1-1 for emergency services in any large city. Response time is so poor that you'll be dead before help arrives anyway.

I called Dial-A-Prayer but the soonest they can get anyone out is 45 minutes.
