The process of temporarily hijacking a thread with pictures relating to the quoted section of the post you are posting funny but relevant pictures in response to the OP, (Original post). Such temporary hijacking of the thread in question is done with the intention of allowing the thread to continue on along it's regular course. You did it for the Lulz, and nothing more.

Their temple is is the website 4chan. It operates much like a county, with various boards acting as states. Sometimes they are at war, sometimes at peace. When necessary, however, they unite to form a nearly unbeatable and unconquerable army- the anonymous army. Their ranks are comprised of people from all walks of life. Hackers, programmers, porn enthusiasts, poets, artists and every other type of person you imagine comprise the army. It is written in a prophecy, created on the first version of notepad, locked deep away on a flash drive in Lawrence G. Roberts desk, that when the very existence of the internet is threatened, the anonymous army will come forth to deliver salvation.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
