They vary in size, shape, and thickness, as different styles of music require.

man 1- "Dude, can you go pick me up some ernie ball gator grip guitar picks?"
man 2- "Sure, what thickness?"
man 1- "Dude, you know I need some 1.5mm for maximum shred factor!!"

A montreal slang term in which if one were to say "i'm going to go get weed/marijuanacigarettes" one would say "I'm going to go pick."

Easy Pick

American prison slang term used to describe someone that is weak, unwilling to fight back or stand up for oneself, an inmate that takes heat and flack from others and does nothing. Easy pick generates from the commissary or "store" when inmates are allowed to purchase snacks and hygiene products once a week. Inmates will test the new comers by robbing them of there commissary, hence the term "easy pick".
