When you are walking past two or more people having a conversation, and not knowing the context, often perceive it as inappropriate or funny.

Guy 1: Yeah she's really taking it hard.

Guy2: yeah it sounds like all that vibration is killing her bones.

Man 1: That's a drive-by conversation if I ever seen one.

rock drive-by

when a person assaults another person by means of several rocks/gravel in hand, while in a fleeing vehicle.

Rock drive-by - Girl gets pissed off by someone she's dating. While he's standing outside the local club, she picks up a handful of rocks/gravel and ask her friend to pull up beside him in the car. At that point and time, she unloads the handful of rocks on the victim and they drive off. Terrible, right? hahahaha!
