A type of music that surpasses all others because it doesn't involve computer generated beats and even more shockingly, no lyrics about bustin' a whitey's ass with lead!
Rap has no true emotion behind it. True composers like Gustav Mahler and Dmitri Shostakovich were intelligent and put real emotion into their music. Rap doesn't have any feeling so it makes you think of nothing while you are listening to it. Classical does contain lyrics in the case of Opera and Church music and if you don’t understand the language, that’s YOUR fault!
The majority of listeners are intelligent people who refuse to listen to Rap because of how bad it sounds. Classical music is still being composed today and has never been better. Some modern composers are Leondard Bernstein and John Rutter.
Everybody knows that Rappers got famous because the majority of moron Americans would rather listen to “Come and lick my lollipop, you ho!” rather than listen to true beautiful emotion classical music.
Anyone can rap:
1: Think of some horrible lyrics about violence, drugs, rape, and misogyny
2: Repeat step 1 six times
3: Invite 5 of ya gang around
4: Give them a microphone and and a synthesizer
5: Give each person a different sheet with random notes
6: Record the result
7: Get some dumbass MTV person to broadcast your shit.
Most movies these days only use classical music a.k.a. real music rather than that fucking rap shit like 8 Mile, the worst movie ever made.
The reason classical is only played during movies nowadays is because:
1: If they played rap, people would die
2: The movie industry is too civilized for Rap.
3: Rap artists like 50 cent have too many hoes to fuck and ain’t got no time to to movie music.
Classical will remain popular whereas in about 10 years rap will go out of style. People have been fans of classical music for centuries!
Classical is not boring. There’s more to classical than slow violin and piano pieces. Have you ever heard Shostakovich? Have you ever heard Mahler? I suggest buying “Shostakovich Symphony No. 4” and tell me what you think!

A person who dips there fingers in everyone else's cake. The cake being an album or genre of music. These people only listen to top 40 music to make themselves appear cool and hip. When really they are just a bunch of n00bs who dont know what sounds good.
They commonly just take the best songs of an album and come to the conclusion that the rest is shit. They take the one song and sing it to death to ruin the entire album for everyone else.
- they are the lowest form of music listeners

A weekly event held at Twitter where anyone can join in. In 250 characters, you can name your favorite bands. There is no point to this, except to recommend your followers some good bands, to you anyway.
An example of a Music Monday tweet...
Considering Music Monday, my favorite bands at this week is Linkin Park, Green Day, Dragonforce, and Aya Hirano.

A sub genre of music, originating from South America at around 2000, with influences from hip hop, dupstep, rap and trance music. It was named so because it was developed by rappers gathered in traps to express their problems. This music features the sound of the brass, triangle, triplet hi hats, loud kicks, snappy snares and low end 808 bass samples (mostly produced by Roland TR-808 Drum Machine) and it gives the feeling of a dark, grim and leaking background to the listener. Until 2012, this genre was exclusively based on rap and hip hop , then lots of electronic music producers, influenced by the increased EDM pupularity, added trap music in the EDM family.
There's some confusion when it comes to describing the word trap, because nowadays it is used by both rappers for their hip hop tracks and by electronic producers for their dance beats, so it describes two diffirent sub-categories of the same style .
Currently, these are the most famous categories of this style:
Hardcore Trap (heavy-bass and uneasy beats)
EDM Trap (influenced by dubstep, dirty, hot dance tracks with naughty, tough drops commonly known as "party shit"
Hip Hop Trap (Non-EDM based music, with vocals the basic element, unlike other styles, the closest thing to original)
Chill Trap(Chilly, relaxed and 'beautiful tracks, great for falling asleep, the exact opposite of the First two)
Future Trap (Music that refers to the past, illustrates the future and expresses the present)

A style of music originating in the 20th century. It is characterised by repeated motifs, varied slightly over a long period. Also common are long notes played over these repeated sections.
Interestingly enough, John Cage's famous silent piece 4'33'' is not considered minimalist, even though it is the most repetitive and minimal song ever composed.

Guy #1: Hey your stereo is broken.
Guy #2: No that's a Philip Glass CD. It's minimalist music.

Musical adrenaline is music, or something that gives you such energy that it could be possibly reffered to as "musical orgasm" as defined on this site, but I would call it something that gives you such energy that you are led to start head-banging uncontrolably, and to do backflips and some major wailing on a guitar, or just bang on drums so that your emotion can be let out upon the world in such great extremes that you either break the drum set, or you start sweating so profusely that you pass out, and then wake up again and start doing it again because the music gives you so much musical adrenaline.
Person1: Damn, Jimmy had so much musical adrenaline he passed out last nigh.
Person2: Whoa, gimme a dose of that music he was listenin to.

Person 1: There he goes again. This is the 4th guy he's had in his room this week!
Person 2: Are they getting it on?
Person 1: No. He's just a music pimp.
Person 2: Ohhhhhh.
