To talk with someone that you admire for their skill, generally inquisitively or intimately; learn tricks from them, pester them with questions about their processes, find out what tools they use or, who they learned from.

Going so deep into their methods that you may as well be 'swapping heads' with them.

Person 1: "Ah man, I love your sketchbook. If you have the time, I'd love to swap heads with you for a bit."
