eat big

If you decide to eat big then you are planning on instead of having your usual breakfast having a large more dinner like meal so as to give yourself a good run at the day.

A large meal can be refereed to as a big eat.

Bimmy: I'll get up 8 or half 8 prob and eat big then head soon after, gonna be a long day.
Jimmy: Definitely, I have some of todays dinner lined up.
Bimmy: I'm diving into a pizza or something.
Jimmy: Solid.

pre-eating

The process of eating a small meal before you eat in order to work your way into a larger meal. This process is beneficial to prevent an upset stomach when one is extremely hungry, or to ensure that one does not spend too much buying a larger meal in order to satiate hunger. This process is not to be confused with snacking; pre-eating deals more with meals in smaller portions like appetizers or small microwavable meals.

I didn't eat anything ALL DAY! I need to pre-eat before we go to that buffet or I'll get myself sick.

John: Aww mann I'm still hungry. That cheeseburger didn't work.
Craig: Shoulda pre-ate.

tactical eating

When you're eating food such as biscuits and grapes and you leave the last one in the packet as you know if you eat the last one you're gonna have to put the rubbish in the bin which is the otherside of the room.

However a battle can ensue if other members are playing the tactical eating game where noone eats the last item of food in the packet

2 Loungers are watching a movie in a living room and there is one biscuit left in the pack.

Lounger 1: Hey dude, why don't you have the last biscuit, I left it for you
Lounger 2: Nah that's cool dude, i'm totally stuffed, why don't you have it? I know you love them
Lounger 1: Godammit... he got me there

Hence Lounger 1 loses the tactical eating game
