the silent treatment is usedon people that are disliked by the general population. this method induces and awkward silence that is hallarious the the people who are ignoring the offensive person. very funny method of making someone feel like, or infroming them that they are indeed and outsider.

Everyone else: ....(silence)
Boomer: what are you watching?
everyone else: ... (silence)

day of silence

The most ignorant act ever conceived by mankind. Refers to a day set aside to protest the harassment of gay people. Most gay people are victims of reverse ignorance. They fail to realize that other minorites are harassed equally as much if not more than they are, yet still think they are above everyone else. It is endorsed in public schools, teaching children that gays are higher than other minorites, and should be treated with more respect. The Day of Silence is most often supported by non-gay, ignorant people. They think they are doing a good thing, but again fail to realize their own elitist ignorance.

(Teacher)"Okay, class, today we are celebrating the Day of Silence, to show that gays shouldn't be opressed."

(Mexican)"Oh boy, do we have a Day of Silence?"

(Teacher)"No."

(Mexican)"Why not? We're oppressed too."

(Teacher)"Yes, but gay people are above everyone else. See, you might be oppressed, but nobody cares because gay people are much more important than you."

(Mexican)"Oh, I see. Thanks, teach!"

silent football

The second best game in the world. Played when there's too much food on backpacking trips. The players adhere to an extremely strict set of rules, and when a rule is broken, other players ask the Duke or Duchess if they may speak, and when granted permission, they state who they think has broken the rule. The Duke or Duchess then decides if they should recieve penance, in other words, extra food. It's pretty awesome.

"We have way too much food and no one wants to eat it. Looks like we're going to have to play Silent Football."
*the game ensues..*
"Lady Duchess Lauren with the Long Lingering Locks of the Lost Coast, may I speak?"
"Yes, Lady Sonia, you may."
"I believe that Lord Dave was blaming his own flatulence problems on my person."
"I agree, and for that he shall recieve penance."
(Everyone is greatly amused, and Dave gets another bowl of the nasty rice and chili mix)

shipley school

Possibly the most overrated school on the main line. Somehow was ranked number 2 on the main line behind the haverford school. They could not compete in the inter-ac so they had to leave the conference, and join the worst conference in the state. No one knows why the school gets so much hype.... maybe because parents of children there run the papers and magazines?? Very artsy school, sucks at most sports except crew. The guys are tools, the girls are beat. I would go there but im not an artsy non athletic freak.

Whos that unathletic freak?
Oh that kid goes to shipley school, i hear he sucks mad D though?
