West Newbury

A town in northeastern Massachusetts. The residents are loaded with cash. The median income for a family is over $150,000 and the families in West Newbury aren't afraid to show it.
All the kids from West Newbury end up at Pentucket or private prep schools, and at that point end up blowing all of their parents money on drugs and alcohol.

There isn't anything cool in West Newbury; just the House of Pizza, and Long Hill Orchard.

old westbury 

Village in Nassau County, Long Island, about 35 minutes east of Manhattan. It is the North Shore (Gold Coast) of the Island. NOT to be confused with Westbury.
Old Westbury claims to have no commercial properties, though a gas station and diner techncially are within the village's boundaries. The village therefore is just about 100% residential. The homes here range from McMansions to Gatsby era manor homes, with even land plots rarely going for under $1 million and homes generally ranging between $3 and $12 million (though homes over $40 million are not all that rare). Besides the high mortgages these houses come with, the taxes are even more ridiculous (a $4 million dollar home may have well over $50k in annual property taxes). Old Westbury is where the Phipps, Graces, Whitneys, Vanderbilts, Posts and many other elite families have called home. Some notable residents include Howard Stern (before the divorce), CZ Guest and her daughter Cornelia Guest (the Paris Hilton of the 80s). Bess Myerson's scandalous affair with Andy (Carlos) Capasso took place in the manorhouse on Tredwell Drive.
The village has also been used in countless films, most recently in Cruel Intentions. The television show Growing Up Gotti was filmed in Victoria Gotti's home here. The town also is believed to be the inspiration of Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, though some of the characters are based on his time on Chicago's Gold Coast and the geography of the town is based on an unknown source.

westchester 

Bronxbuddy you do have a point. Kids at my high school literally were convinced they were "from" the Bronx because they lived there until they were like 2, and expect you to think they were tough because of that. People really do not have any idea how rich Westchester is, what we consider "Middle Class" is really more like upper middle class. Yonkers is probably the only city in Westchester co. that even remote resembles the rest of the country economically so it gets labeled a dump and ostracized by snobs in Scarsdale even though Yonkers is not poor for the most part, it is just normal middle class.

"Oh I'm not rich I'm well off" -Westchester kids who drive a BMW convertible and live in a $1 million dollar house.

A proposed plan to build a new stadium for the Jets on the west side of Manhattan. Mayor Bloomberg promises it will bring revenue to the city, although many disagree. Will cost over 1 billion dollars to construct, most of which will come from our taxes.

West Valley City 

West Valley City is the second largest municipality in the State of Utah, with a population of nearly 130,000 residents. It is located west of Salt Lake City (Utah's capitol), has an area of almost 36 square miles, and plays hosts to some of the largest businesses in the State of Utah.

In 2012, West Valley City was awarded a Best of State Award; these awards are granted to the best private or public organization in the state, that exemplifies the highest level of professionalism and expertise in a variety of areas. In 2012, West Valley City was awarded the Best of State Award for Community Involvement.

This award comes directly from years of work and effort in developing itself into the most diverse and developed city in Utah.
