During this time it is usual to expect 10 minutes at each stop on the route as every single passenger either stops to discuss the weather with the driver or takes an age to find there concession card. Going anywhere by bus between 9:30am and 10am is likely to take twice as long as any other time of day!

A large orange-yellow vehicle for students who does not know how to take a public transit like a city bus, drive, doesn't have car pool, or doesn't have any form of transportation. This big annoying vehicle has bad supension and gives a headache. Always sticky on the inside and hot. Plus the driver always turns on the radio up too loud. AKA. The Losermobile
Ken lost his liscence and does not know how to take a city bus so he has to take that headache (school bus) to school.

A schoolbus that has been retired from its academic duties in the U.S. to go face a long, slow death in Latin America. Often painted garish colors and includes numerous religious icons, including the Virgin Mary, displayed prominently within the bus in an effort to reassure passengers. The emissions from one chicken bus equal that of four tractor trailers. Chicken buses often carry chickens in addition to other small livestock.
I only had four sucres left so I couldn't afford the good bus. I caught the chicken bus back to Quito.
