"I cannot hold his attention for more than a sentence or two."

Also people who live vicariously through tv programs and do not participate in real life - ignore their family/friends, have no interests.

Opposite: those who live in the deep end of the pond.

Only happens for those who sleep on their backs or, occasionally, their sides.

A condition often related to extended periods of Internet-surfing, causing the mouse hand to feel uncomfortably cold.
Can be cured by wearing gloves.

After browsing hilarious YouTube videos for hours, I realised I had to stop due to my ever-worsening Surfers Hand.

Surf the Shark

When one unintentionally does something very impressive.

In reference to Doug Niblack. He was surfing off the coast of Oregon when his surfboard hit a great white shark, he landed on the shark and "surfed the shark" for a few seconds before falling off.

"That was awesome! Did you mean to do that or did you just Surf the Shark?"

a condition characterized by a chronic internet surfer/chatterer's inability to read from left to right, right to left, up to down, or down to up, as a result of being online too much in a spontaneous or non-purpose centered manner.

Denine has been doin' the online surfing and chat rooms for about 11 hours a day since her unemployment insurance came through, and her surflexia is so bad she asked her boyfriend to read her cable bill to her.
