Hollywood Undead

6 man band which falls under the category of "crunkcore". Hollywood Undead was formed in 2005 by Aron Erlichman and Jorel Decker after the writing of the song "The Kids". After gaining Myspace popularity, they recruited Jeff Philips, George Ragan, Jordon Terrell, Dylan Alvarez, and Matthew St. Claire into the band. After two years, Shady Jeff left the band. After 5 years of making music, HU has gained a large audience of fans, as well as a large audience of critics. Some describe their music as funny&truly heartfelt, while some describe their music as distasteful&crude. Songs from HU have been featured in video games and movies. However you choose to describe this band, one thing is for certain: they have come a long way. HU has taken a liking to calling their avid following of fans their "army". As in the term "Undead Army". Individuals usually use the terms "HU Soldier", "Undead Soldier", or just "soldier". An ironic term used by the band and its following happens to be "Undead until I die".

Hollywood Undead

Hollywood Undead is a hardcore hip hop band consisting of seven members. Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Funny Man, Tha Producer, J-Dog, The Server, and Shady Jeff. They combine hip hop with hardcore to create a unique style all their own. Some of their songs are focused on sex, violence, and clubs, but some are serious and focused on losing love and drugs. Scene refers either to the club scene in Hollywood or the hardcore scene, sometimes called scene for short.

This is a band, that mixes hardcore and rap. starting with 2 guys on myspace. bringing in 5 other friends to make seven before losing shady jeff and being 6 strong. is the change of the century in music. i dont know anyone that likes hardcore and doesnt like hollywood undead, same with rap. they dont make up stories, they spit their life something most rappers dont do anymore.As for their masks it adds a Erie touch like slipknot giving them an extra edge. plus they have a badass name.

Hollywood Undead

Another Whining Boy Band with questionable "street cred" - Mostly commonly referred to as a "hardcore metal hip hop band" yet none of their videos shows any members playing instruments, a staple in metal music; while the base instrumets they DO use are the essentials in hip hop. They emphasize many things that have come to pass on all things CLUB GANGSTA, from the early 2000's, with an MySpace addition to the lyrical content. They perpetuate the ridiculousness of "sound board music" with vocal content and stylings of Angry Mid to Lower Class White Males. For the most part, the coming of this band is a direct reflection on the acceptance of White Hip Hop in mass media and how "serious" this style "is". The members exhibit a KISS/Slipknot appeal in that they wear masks that appears to be made from dirty laundry or from a hobby store. A young group they may be, it will soon be revealed that the deliverable sincerity is all, in fact, ICP 2.0

In the matter of the "Hollywood Undead" It is warned that the average ,unsuspecting music listener to reserve a small amount of judgement towards the style of groups like this only so that it is easier to fully scoff at the hilarity of the fanbase; of which vehemently guards the supposed sanctity OF the group to levels that truly reveal the maturity of the defender. The rest of your judgement can be dispensed gratuitiously.
