Means the same as super. Most recently used by fans of anime & Japanese street fashion trends. Is also slang used in the subtitles of the anime Gals! also known as Super Gals.

When someone overreacts - dann "überreagiert er".
But, also when someone is above of something else, he is "über etwas".

"Ich bin über Dir." - I am above of you.
"Ich bin überglücklich!" - I am very lucky.
