Teebala-Mesar

A word to show your support for your beloved ones, which is mostly used in northern part of iran. It means "May your problems hit my head!".

When a man says "Teebala-Mesar" to his fiance, girl friend or wife, it literally means that "I will protect you against your problems". This word is said to relieve one's anxiety.

Example 1:
My darling, Don't be sad about your problems at work. Teebala-Mesar!

Example 2:
My son, Teebala-Mesar!. Be brave when you encounter with the new issues in your life.

In short: private gain at public expense.

That area was once two-family homes, now it is being converted to high rises because of a zoning change, it is tweeding in action.
