One who cannot see the beauty or attractiveness in anyone who does not fit "perfectly" in the "beautiful people" steriotype. A character flaw that causes one to judge another solely by unrealistic or perverted standards irregaurdless of the judged person's personality, abilities, character.
Julia is such a shallow hal, in college she was dismissive of who she considered the geekiest guy in america, she even told him he was useless: I wonder if she gets it now?

A person, typically on the internet, that easily and hastily changes their political and/or religious beliefs depending on what is popular and fashionable at the time. The reason for the name is to point out that the people are both shallow for lacking any real beliefs and are able to oscillate to another belief, likely and/or eventually to another.
Many people that occupy the political sphere in online politics nowadays can be correctly labeled as shallow oscillators.
