The place you go at 2 am, usually after a long night of drinking, that's always open, always willing, and never your first choice. You've been there plenty of times before, you know what you want because you get it every time, and you always feel a little dirry after paying the check. Coffee and cigarettes ate usually involved.

Friend 1 - "Hey friend 2. What happened to you last night?"

Friend 2 - "Got wasted and ended up calling in a serious foodie call. Needed that late night grease."

Also sometimes spelled, "foody", this word describes a person who enjoys food on another level. A foodie Often says "mmm" while they chew, and gets mouth watery from the hashtag #foodporn on Instagram. A foody looks for new restaurants to try new foods of all shapes and sizes. Different from a food critic, a foodie does not try only spendy small portioned dishes, but tries all foods.

I am a total foodie, I'll try any culture's food.
