a fictional disease which is characterized by the following:

1. divorced parents.

2. either an exagerrated innate need to be in a relationship or a laid-back view on relationships and love.

3. repating information or stories because you forgot which parent you told.

4. not telling one parent information or stories because you told the other and forgot.

CHILD: jen's party is tonight!
MOM: you never said that!
CHILD: oh, i must have told dad that. divorced parent syndrome.

CHILD: oh, sorry, i have divorced parent syndrome.

GIRL: omg my boyfriend just broke up with me.

True definition for the words above is when you love someone so much and your loyal and devoted to them to the point where no other human being or creature is attractive or appealing in any other way than a best friend or a minor social friend and no adjectives or words are used to describe any other creature or being as attractive or appealing in any way,shape or form.

I love him/her so much that no other man or woman alive will ever have the luxury of being appealing or attractive in any way at all.Forever Mine <3 Loyalty and Devotion to your one love.

divorce

An event that has become very common in today's society. Affects children more than adults-generally causes the parents to tell their children that "We're still friends" while talking shit about the absent partner and forcing the child to call them to tell them something. It is also the beginning of the introduction of a step-parent (aka demon in most cases) who feels it is their role in life to be a complete ass- all the freakin time.

me:I don't know a single person whose parents are still married, do you?

platonic divorce

- the dissolution of a non-sexual, non-romantic relationship; usually the dissolution of a friendship

Platonic divorces are rarely hostile and normally occur when friends drift apart either on purpose or by chance.

Platonic divorces between women are often irreversible and can never return to the 'pre-divorce' state.

Platonic divorces between men are more easily reversed. It only takes a phone call saying, "Hey bud, I got a case of beer. You wanna come over to watch the game and get hammered man??"

Currently, platonic divorces between a man and a woman are completely irreverible.

e.g. After Gwen moved to Vancouver and stopped sending even Christmas cards, she and Maria platonically divorced.

e.g. Greg platonically divorced Jane after not being invited to her wedding.

e.g. I think Lara and I will get a platonic divorce if neither of us call within the next couple months.
