Beat-up version

noun: Someone who is a lookalike, or doppelganger, for another person, but less attractive. While it usually refers to physical appearance, the term is versatile and can, in theory, also be applied to inferior versions of non-human things/animals or used to compare one individual negatively to another in terms unrelated to physical attractiveness.

Spencer Pratt is a beat-up version of Charlie Hunnam.

Charlie Puth sings like a beat-up version of Sam Smith.

Mello Yello is a beat-up version of Mountain Dew.

a masterpiece, written by Dr. Taylor Swift (aka the music industry) and Liz Rose. released in 2021 on red (taylor’s version), it was originally written in 2011 for the original red album, however was cut down to 5:29. with red (taylor’s version), it was finally released in it’s full glory and poetry.

Clean Version

A version of a song where some of the soundtrack has been altered, usually by digital means, and still contains swearing. The only difference is that it is now in altered sound form. Its hidden nature can make it physically uncomfortable to listen to around other people. It makes an unwanted issue about its language, draws attention and points it out, to extreme discomfort and serious offence, to everyone around. It indicates the language is inappropriate but still conveys it and therefore is unacceptable. Very rarely will an actual clean version be produced, such as Radiohead's "Creep". Most clean versions will be inappropriate and extremely uncomfortable and offensive in public environments, failing to take the swearing away and instead containing it in signature form, reinforcing an offensive nature of the song. It is hardly "censored" since the original meaning of the song is still present and everyone knows what the song means. It does not prevent that communication, or information, from reaching the audience. If there is any minor "censorship", it merely censors part of the original sound of the song but fails to censor its meaning. It's like claiming that writing Scarborough as "Scarboro." amounts to "censorship". The "u", "g" and "h" are not written but anyone who knows about Scarborough will still know if you write to ask them to meet you in "Scarboro." and will still end up at the correct place, as will a letter posted to and addressed the same.

In other words, it almost certainly is not and is an offensive version of a song, as rarely will it be an acceptable version such as the Radiohead situation.

Red Version

n. This refers to the "pokemon red" version in the pokemon for gameboy videogame series. This was orginally released in Japan in 1996. The object of the game is to beome a great pokemon trainer and obtain all 8 badges from the 8 gym trainers and reach it to the pokemon tournement. Another goal of the game is to "catch'em all." This is refering to catching all 150 pokemon. Now the myth about #151, Mew, is no true. You can't legitimately catch a Mew in Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow. No matter how many times your buddy tells you that he found his Mew in a truck next to the SS Anne or how his Jigglypuff evolved into a Mew -- it's just not true. It's not an accident that Nintendo always publicizes its GB Pokemon games as having 150 Pokemon. Mew #151 is a bonus Pokemon not found in the first three Game Boy games (unless you use a GameShark device to unlock it -- but that can potentially screw up your save file, as well as render the game save incompatible with Pokemon Stadium. If you can't resist using a GameShark code to unlock Mew, be sure to only use it on a save file you're not too attached to).
However, this is by far the best pokemon game to date. Nintendo just released pokemon "fire red", which is a remake of the classic. Only trons will buy this, because it was red version that started the revolution and nothing could replace it.

I just got home from school and gamed on red version for a solid 3 hours.

Red version is by the best pokemon game and will always be.

The gerund form of the "verb" "verse."

Presumably caused by people assuming that versus is spelled "verses" and is the present tense of a verb... but it's latin.
