Long Route Syndrome

When someone takes an unusually long route to reach their destination.

Person 1: So i'm gonna cut through 42nd street, back down to 48th, do circles in the parking lot and drive Miss Daisy through this neighborhood.

Person 2: How about you just take a left here and we'll be there?

Person 1: Que?

Person 2: You seriously have Long Route Syndrome.

Hot Route

Refers to traveling out of your way to intentionally come into contact with gorgeous members of the opposite sex.

Can be done by foot, but is preferably done in an expensive and flashy vehicle. The path traveled usually takes one by a certain locale where said hotties are known to congregate. Can also refer to following a particularly sexy person for a short time, or dawdling near them.

Guy 1: "Hey man, sorry I'm late. I ran a hot route in my bother's new car on the way over here."

Guy 2: "No problem dude. See any fine looking women?"

Guy 1: "Hell yeah! Got some numbers too."

Scenic Route

An imaginary route used to explain otherwise inexplicable lateness.

Francine: "Bob, you're two and a half hours late! What took you so long?!"
Bob: "I took the scenic route."
Francine: "Oh, okay. That excuse makes perfect sense and I have no questions pertaining to the circumstances of your lateness beyond that."

b-route

Running a b-route is to drive a car for the purpose of somewhere to smoke. The origins of this term are unknown, but one can assume that b is short for "burn a bowl". This term is very useful to use in the company of non-smokers.

"Hey, wanna run a b-route and try out my new piece?"

"Hey, pigs round here, we should take this b-route somewhere else."
