Repo-man

When I was in the Marines, we referred to the repo-man when someone was killed, or when someone had a close call or was wounded we would say the repo-man nearly got him. In the song The One I love, Davis Gray refers to the repo-man in that way.

Sgt Taylor took a bullet in the shoulder. The repo-man nearly got him.
