Mostly used in circumstances when one changes from something at the opposite end of the social spectrum, perhaps goth or nerd has a total changeover. Can be used as a noun on occaision.

Women who wear very short skirts with high heels and flaunt that they are doing so normally are defined as such. It is not always used as a derogatory word.
