Any of a wide array of symptoms exhibited by those suffering from MIM such as, voting for wealthy candidates who do not represent your interests, supporting industries in your watershed that pollute, or putting yourself into crippling debt buying things you don’t need.

She always complaining about her credit card bills, but she keeps on using it; I think she has MIMS.
