City Miles

(Adj) A physical appearance suggesting an individual has lived a tough existance; usually as a result of substance abuse. The term originates from the distinction between a car that has "city miles" versus "highway miles."

I really don't believe that Kate is 32. If she really is that age, she's got some serious City Miles.

Miles "Tails" Prower

A character of the popular Sega series, Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic's loyal sidekick, this 8-year old two-tailed fox is a mechanical genius. The inventor of various vehicles such as the Tornadoes 1 and 2, the Cyclone, the Blue typhoon and various other gadgets. His intellectual equal, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is at constant struggle with Sonic. Tails helps in his own way by working alongside Sonic in battle. He's capable of flight on his own by use of his two tails as a propeller. It has been questioned whether or not Tails was originally supposed to be a girl in his first game appearance. Tails has also been believed to be losing his role in the shadow of Sonic, but has proved time and time again as a valuable asset to the fight against evil.

Miles "Tails" Prower is a helpful fox.

King's Mile

An arbitrary unit of distance, so called because of the legendary pub crawl/race of the same name, performed by 6th form leavers of KCS Wimbledon. The King's Mile is the distance from the first pub (The Prince of Wales), to the last (The Crooked Billet).

Unfortunately, there are many potential routes from start to finish, leaving the ACTUAL value of a King's Mile unclear. To confuse the matter, the competitors in the pub crawl are often a bit tiddly by the end of the race and thus have, so far, neglected to note the distance they have traveled.

(King's boy to the landlord of The Prince of Wales):
"What ho, fair publican - could you inform me of the distance to the Crooked Billet from this fine establishment?"
(Landlord):
"Aye, sonny - thar be a King's mile ye have ter toil, and it be yonder up yon hill."

Milcot

Refers to the Canadian Army's olive drab Chevy trucks. Usually used as travel vehicles for NCOs.

Hey I'm taking the millcot up to base this morning to pick up breakfast for the troops.
Don't park the milcot in civy parking lots or the Warrant will throw a fit.
