Deepest Lore

When the background lore of a piece of media goes really deep. Sometimes used jokingly on small details the author has put in, but true deep lore consists of a variety of hints spread throughout the story that only dedicated fans will discover. These hints usually hold historical, philosophical, religious, and other metaphorical meaning.

Person1: Did anyone else notice the main character's weapon looks similar to that stick from the carving of an ancient Egyptian emperor?

alphabet lore

A masterpiece of a story where the characters are all letters. It is unironically better than any anime and marvel movie ever made, with no dialogue it tells a story with a deep history and yet all the letters are able to say is their own name. All things considered it is a true masterpiece and should win an Oscar.

tribal lore

Informal information passed along person-to-person over a long period of time; tribal lore ultimately defines processes and things that are a deep part of the culture, but are often so ingrained that their source of origin is unknown.

Aren't there any documents that tell the team how to do that? No, it's really just tribal lore.

Entrenching Lore

A complex idea found in fictional/ nonfictional media that can be described as "Entrenching Lore" to confuse friends and family into compliance of a bigger argument.

The deep entrenching lore of LoTGH has opened my eyes to how pitiful modern day anime are so surface level and pandering LoTGH actually cares about it's viewers and isn't afraid to touch on more complex topics.
